Music school

Musical sensitivity and love of music should be fostered from earliest childhood. Children's comprehensive development requires a harmonious balance between their different physical and intellectual faculties.

Orfeoi Gazte

School choirs

Another of the Orfeón Donostiarra’s tasks is to promote choral music through the creation of choirs in schools. This is an initiative aimed at children aged 8 to 11.

Summer camps

The Orfeón has been organising summer music camps aimed at children since 2009. There, they are taught to sing and dance, to make instruments and to enjoy music.

Thanks to an initiative by the director of the Orfeón, Sainz Alfaro, this class is open to children and adults, and teaches violin from beginner to upper level.
