This choir is composed by 40 mixed voices which performs as an independent choir and also as a reinforcement of the other two choirs. It has also been achieved that the kids who are in age of the change of the voice continue with its musical training and with the activity coral.
In 2007 the choir participated in the Musical Cycle of Pasaia and in the concert celebrated in the Velodromo of Anoeta on the occasion of the 110 anniversary of the Orfeón. It has participated in three editions of the meetings for young choirs organized by the Federation of Choirs of Gipuzkoa.In 2008 they offered two concerts in San Sebastián and since this year they participate with the children choir Orfeoi Txiki in the Christmas concert for UNICEF that is celebrated in the Auditorium Kursaal.
In 2009 they took part in the non-profit concert of the Saharautz Association in Zarautz and participated in the acts of the Kilometroak, the festive day of the basque public schools. They also took part in the interchange established with the Cor Jove Amics from the catalan city of Unió, in whose church of San Esteban it carried out a concert in April. In the month of July this catalan choir came to San Sebastián and offered a concert in the church of Capuchinos. In 2010 they took part in the concert for Friends and Sponsor of the Orfeón, in which the Second Symphony of Mendelssohn was performed.
We offer the chance of singing in a chorus, working on voice training and teaching young people to enjoy music both as a source of pleasure in itself and as a tool for exploring other areas.
We also offer the chance of singing within the Orfeón Donostiarra once a year, at least.
